Bai Yu, Ph.D.，and a professor-level senior engineer, currently serves as the Director of the Technology Department at the Beijing Drainage Group Co.,Ltd (BDG). In this role, she leads R&D and technology management initiatives for wastewater and reclaimed water, and has been a key contributor to numerous national research programs, earning prestigious accolades such as the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class) and the IWA Project Innovation Award (Gold Prize in the R&D Breakthrough category). She played a key role in spearheading the implementation of sludge treatment and disposal strategies in Beijing's central urban area, while also pioneering the development and application of numerous innovative technologies. With extensive practical expertise, she is committed to water environment improvement and green and low-carbon development.
